YMCA Instructors: GET FAMILIAR WITH YOUR FITNESS CENTER
Fitness Equipment Orientation - Instruction of equipment, strength training benefits and etiquette are offered. Guidelines on how to create your own program will be given, as well as how to properly use the equipment. Please inquire at the front desk for an appointment. There is no charge for this service. The Personal Fitness Program gradually introduces you to a lifetime fitness program. Over a 12 week period, you will learn to use the equipment with one-on-one consultations. Finally, don’t forget about personal training and lifestyle assessments to help you get the result you want. Call Vicky Burns for information about any of these options: 258-2388.

| YOUTH
Our policy is that no one under the age of 14 is allowed in the Adult fitness center. We do offer many different youth programs (see this page) to keep them active and involved. Our facility has full court basketball for kids to play basketball any day of the week, including Saturday and Sunday. There are ping pong, billiards, air hockey and arcade games to play also. Monday through Friday from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, children under the age of 14 are allowed on the walking track with a parent/guardian, and classes are offered as taught by Certified Instructors. Our programs promote healthy lifestyles, and positive youth development to build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Please check with the YMCA regarding youth Strength Training recommendations. There are many different membership types available, but if you think the whole family won’t use the YMCA you could sign your child up for a youth membership @ $106 per year or $10.25 per month and receive the YMCA member rates on all programs.
